Work
Human sovereignty

Widening who gets to participate.

Through the Oluwaseun Dania International Foundation — protecting childhoods and widening opportunity through child education, health, and care for the environment, so that a fair chance is not the privilege of the few.

01
The argument

Sovereignty begins with access.

A person cannot own their future while trapped by poverty, poor health, or a childhood left unprotected. The rails can be built and the stories can be told, but if most are shut out of opportunity, self-determination remains the property of a few.

Human sovereignty is the work of widening the door — reaching those the market overlooks and equipping them with the literacy, the tools, and the confidence to take part. Not charity as an end, but capability as a beginning.

02
The work

The Oluwaseun Dania International Foundation.

The Foundation works to eradicate poverty and protect childhoods — child education and protection, health and well-being, and care for the environment — reaching those the system overlooks, and advocating for children's rights through the power of story.

Its programmes include the 2020 Walk to End Violence Against Children in Lagos — led by the First Lady of Lagos State with the Ministry of Youth and Social Development, for NACCRAN — and partnerships that have fed and gifted over 1,000 children and their families, created domestic-violence helplines, and helped advocate for Nigeria's Mental Health Bill.
