The Foundation

Improving lives, and widening who gets a fair chance.

The Oluwaseun Dania International Foundation is a non-governmental organisation working to eradicate poverty and protect childhoods — providing food, clean water, healthcare, and quality education to those in need, and advocating for children's rights through the power of story.

Our mandate

Improve lives. Protect childhoods. Keep our harmony with the earth.

The Foundation was founded to improve lives and to encourage the preservation of humanity's harmony with the environment.

Its work centres on child education and child protection, and aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals — from No Poverty and Zero Hunger to Quality Education, Good Health, and Life on Land. It brings a new light to child-rights advocacy by using entertainment as an effective way to reach a younger generation.

Advocacy with a story attached — reaching a generation where it lives.

Programmes

The work, in the world.

I

Pet Bottle School Project

An environment-and-education initiative that turns discarded plastic into a resource for learning — pairing care for the planet with a child's right to a classroom.

II

NFT Art

Bringing the Foundation's causes into the digital economy — using art and NFTs to fund the work and carry its message to new audiences, where culture, technology, and philanthropy meet.

III

My Freedom Day / Ukraine Peace

Youth-led advocacy for freedom and peace — joining the global My Freedom Day movement against modern slavery, and standing in solidarity for peace in Ukraine.

IV

Bethesda Christmas Celebrations

In partnership with the Bethesda Child Support Agency and the Vida Niños Foundation, celebrating Christmas with over 1,000 less-privileged children and their families — gifts, meals, and the dignity of a season shared.

V

Cancer Walk — Lagos State

A public walk mobilising Lagos around cancer awareness and early detection — turning the street into a classroom for health and well-being.

Alongside these, the Foundation has led the Walk to End Violence Against Children for NACCRAN (Lagos, 2020), and helped advocate for Nigeria's Mental Health Bill.
